All roads led to Nenagh on Sunday last for the Munster Seniors and Masters Indoor Athletics Championships.
There were 16 athletes from Tipperary competing, winning a total of 24 medals with 13 gold, eight silver and three bronze.
The Tipperary results are as follows:
Katie Bergin Moyne AC took gold in both the Ladies Senior 60m and 200m in times of 7.76 and 25.10 seconds respectively.
Laura Frawley Nenagh AC won gold in the Senior Ladies High Jump (1.65m), silver in the 60mH (9.20) and silver in the Long Jump (5.52m).
Daniel Ryan Ellis Nenagh AC won gold in the Senior Men 1500m in a time of 4:10.35 minutes.
Sharon Cantwell took silver in the Senior Ladies 1500m (5:06.11) and bronze in the 800m (2:35.58).
Clodagh Donoghue won silver in the Senior Ladies Triple Jump (10.40m) and bronze in the High Jump (1.55m).
Ben Connelly Nenagh AC took silver in the Seniors Men's Pole Vault, 3.80m.
Jodie McGrath, Nenagh AC won silver in the Senior Ladies Pole Vault, 2.75m.
Bernadette Spillane, Moyne AC returned with three gold medals in the Master ladies (W40) in the 60m (11.09s), 200m (30.51s) and 400m (1:08.46).
Naomi Morrissey Moyne AC won gold in the Weight for Distance Ladies Masters (W45) 5.10m.
Fiona Walker Newport AC took silver in the Weight for Distance ladies masters (W45) 4.69m.
Niall Kelly Nenagh AC won gold in the Master Men’s (M60) 60mH (11.91s) and Pole Vault 2.20m.
Noel Monteith, Borrisokane AC took gold in Master Men’s (M75) 60m (11.09) and Long Jump (3.18).
Ross Alexander, Coolquill AC won gold in Master Men’s (M40) 3K walk (15:44.24).
John Laste, Clonmel AC won silver in the Master Men’s (M60) 3K walk (15:55.05).
Martin O’Brien Templemore AC took silver in the Master Men’s (M65) 3K walk (23:01.56).
There were also commendable performances by Mark Davidson, Templemore AC in the Senior men’s 200m (24.89) and Laura Frawley in the Senior Ladies Weight for Distance (5.96m).
