The Gap of Dunloe provided a scenic backdrop for the event
Titled the Hardman Gap of Dunloe Half Marathon and 10 Mile but more aptly named for Mooreabbey Milers Athletic Club's Aoife Courtney, "Hardlady" was a half marathon event that ran through the Gap of Dunloe last Sunday morning in Kerry.
One of Ireland’s most challenging half marathons through the legendary Gap, with breathtaking views of Killarney’s most stunning scenery around every bend, they say you will hardly notice the hills, but Aoife can attest to its difficulty and endurance.
Keep in mind that what goes up must also come down and it was all not a bother to Aoife, who was the first lady home.
