Afternoon Tea Party in Tipperary raised funds for three local organisations

The New Inn Women's Group would like to thank everyone who supported their Afternoon Tea fundraiser. It was a great success, and everyone enjoyed it and a total of €2,170 was raised which was distributed amongst the Parish Links, NICC and Indoor Bowls Club. (See picture above).

NEW INN WOMEN'S GROUP
The Annual General Meeting for the Women’s Group takes place on Tuesday, February 28 at 8pm in the New Inn Community Centre. New members welcomed.

WALK IN AID OF THE DILLON QUIRKE FOUNDATION
On Wednesday, March 1, Rockwell Rovers GAA will be doing a fundraiser walk around the pitch in aid of the Dillon Quirke Foundation. Operation Transformation Leader Marie Clear will be joining us on the night.
Sudden adult death syndrome (SADS) takes 100 young lives in Ireland each year. With our help their aim is to raise awareness and save lives by screening every GAA player both male and female from the age of 12 upwards.
We hope as many people from the GAA and the wider community come out and support this fundraiser as it will benefit all our kids going forward.

NEW INN TIDY TOWNS
Smart Village Training course. We need seven names going forward if we want to be successful in getting a place on this course, hopefully we will have people from different clubs/organisations interested. Looking for names as soon as possible, please contact Philly Fahey on 086 8829527.

Winners on Wednesday, February 1 with 12 games were Jim Mescal/Jim Garret and runners up with 10 games were Bernie Farrell/Kitty Byrne. Well done all.

Sellers: Sandra English x 2, Ollie’s Bar, and Rockwell Rovers entered into a monthly draw for €100 on Saturday March 4. This week’s Jackpot is €2,600.

NEW INN & DISTRICT CLASSIC & VINTAGE CLUB
New Inn & District Classic & Vintage Club will be holding the Walter Cleary Memorial Vintage Car and Tractor Run on Sunday, April 30.
