Coláiste Mhuire LCA students get crafty with their Practical Achievement Tasks

Coláiste Mhuire LCA students

Well done to our fifth and sixth year LCA students who completed their Practical Achievement Tasks Interviews last week.

The sixth-year students had to take on a new skill for their Task.

The Tasks ranged from knitting, cross-stitching, and diamond painting to restoring old machinery.

Fifth-year students Task was anchored in the individuality and Identity module of Visual Arts. The students crafted Wire

Sculptures of a theme of personal interest, and the pieces were mounted on a painted and decorated wooden backdrop.

Huge thanks to Ms Geraldine Cahill, who guided the students through the project.
