An elderly woman has died following a house fire in Tipperary Town
An elderly woman has died following a fire that broke out in a house in Pearse Park in Tipperary Town.
The fire happened on Thursday morning in Pearse Park.
Fire crews from Tipperary Town and Cashel attended the fire.
The fire service was alerted at 10am when neighbours noticed smoke coming from the property. Fire crews arrived and extinguished the blaze at the residence but unfortunately the occupant passed away.
it is understood that the woman was the only person in the house at the time.
