Fethard's Dorothy Wall and Ballina's Maeve Óg O’Leary are included in the Irish rugby squad for the TikTok Women's Six Nations, which begins with a trip to Cardiff Arms Park to play Wales at 2.15pm on Saturday, March 25.
However, another Tipperary player, Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe, from Tipperary Town has been ruled out of the early rounds of the Six Nations.
Murphy Crowe and other dual players, including Beibhinn Parsons and Eve Higgins, are currently in Canada with the Ireland Sevens squad preparing for this week's Vancouver leg of the World Series, while the Hong Kong leg of the series takes place from March 31 to April 2.
The IRFU have not confirmed whether these players will be available for selection in the later rounds of the Six Nations championship.
Both Dorothy Wall and Maeve Óg O’Leary play their club rugby with Blackrock College.
Ireland's game against Wales will be shown live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.
Ireland's remaining fixtures are

Ireland v England, Saturday April 22, Musgrave Park, 2.15pm (Live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player).
