Loreto Clonmel beat Limerick school in final to win Munster championship

Loreto Clonmel 5-8 John the Baptist Community School Hospital 2-4

Loreto Clonmel have been crowned provincial football champions after they defeated John the Baptist Community School from Hospital in today's final of the Munster Post Primary Schools Senior A Football Championship.

Loreto were on top throughout the game and at the final whistle they had 13 points to spare over the Limerick team in the decider played at Sean Treacy Park, Tipperary Town. 

The Clonmel school is no stranger to football success, as they completed a three in a row of Munster titles in 2020.
