Gardaí at Clonmel Garda Station are investigating the assault
Gardai have issued an appeal to any witnesses to an assault on a female traffic warden in Clonmel town centre to contact them and assist their investigation into the crime.

"Thankfully the traffic warden is not seriously injured but the matter is totally unacceptable as the warden was going about her duty in the town of Clonmel," said a Clonmel Garda Station spokesperson.
Gardaí investigating the assault have canvassed for and collected CCTV footage from the area where the assault took place.
"We are appealing to anyone who saw anything around this time to contact Clonmel Garda Station at (052) 6177640," the Garda spokesperson added.
