Gardaí investigate burglary of house in county Tipperary village

A small quantity of jewellery was stolen from a house burgled in Lisvernane village in the Glen of Aherlow last Saturday.

The burglary occurred between 3.30pm and 8pm and entry was gained to the house through a rear window.

A Garda spokesman said the stolen jewellery was later recovered. He appealed to anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the Lisvernane area that afternoon and evening to contact Tipperary Garda Station at (062) 80670.
