There is growing frustration amongst the Tipperary minor and U20 hurling set ups as Clare GAA have yet to provide a cast-iron venue for next week's Munster championship openers.
Both the Tipp minor and U20 teams travel to Clare on consecutive days next week to take on the Banner in their respective Munster championship openers, with the minors fixed for Tuesday evening with the U20's following suit on Wednesday.
Originally fixed for Sixmilebridge, the news coming from Clare is there is no agreement in place for the east Clare club to host the matches, which leaves both Tipperary teams in limbo waiting for a venue to be confirmed.
Speaking earlier this week, Tipperary U20 boss Brendan Cummins voiced his frustration at the situation saying; "There seems to be a bit of tally ho around it alright.
"The Munster council has to give us four days notice about where it will be on so hopefully they fins somewhere to play it quickly," he said.
Similarly, Tipp minor boss James Woodlock voiced his annoyance at the situation and say it should have been sorted and shouldn't be left to this late stage.
"To be fair we should know where it's on by now," he said.
We're less than a week out and we should know by now. It's wrong but as it stands it's all up in the air," he finished.
Other options outside of Sixmilebridge are few and far between for Clare GAA, with no floodlights in their county ground of Cusack Park in Ennis, while there is talk of Clare having to concede home advantage should a venue not be secured in time for the four day notice cut off point outlined by the Munster Council.
