Man charged in connection with Tipperary Town shop robbery

A man, aged in his 20s, has been charged in connection with the robbery of a quantity of cash from a shop in Tipperary Town last Saturday evening. 

The robbery took place at Bank Place, Tipperary at 5pm on March 18. A Tipperary Garda Station spokesman said no weapon was involved in the incident. 

A local man was arrested  in relation to the crime on Monday and charged with a theft offence. He was scheduled to appear before Thurles District Court today, Tuesday, March 21.
