Two Tipperary players on Irish women's rugby team for Six Nations opener

Dorothy Wall is named on the Irish team to face Wales on Saturday

Tipperary's Dorothy Wall and Maeve Óg O'Leary will start on either flank for the Irish women's rugby team in Saturday's TikTok Women's Six Nations opening game against Wales in Cardiff.

Fethard player Wall will represent her country for the 16th time at senior level while Ballina's O'Leary will earn her third cap.

Ulster prop Sadhbh McGrath is one of two players set for their first caps, with another loosehead prop, Niamh O'Dowd of Leinster, in line to win her debut off the bench.

The team is captained by Nichola Fryday.

The match starts at 2.15 and will be shown live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player.
