Ballingarry girls are Tipperary Community Games Under 10 Soccer Champions

The victorious Ballingarry Girls under 10 indoor soccer team including Ciara Boylan, Saoirse Cahill, Holly Dormus, Hannah Leahy, Jane O’Donnell, Grace O’Gorman and Roisin Rice. With Micheál Maher.

Tractor Run for Trócaire
Presentation Secondary School Ballingarry held their inaugural “Tractor / Vintage Run” on Sunday last March 26, 2023 to support Trócaire's Lenten Campaign because we work together to create a just world. If you did not attend, you can still donate.

All proceeds will go towards Trocaire’s annual Lenten Campaign who are this year raising much needed funds for the people of Somalia and the earthquake- hit Turkey and Syria.
2023 marks the 50th Anniversary of Trocaire and our school has a long-standing association of fundraising for Trocaire.

Ballingarry Community Games
County U/10 girls indoor soccer champions - Massive Congratulations to this great bunch of young girls who today defeated Boherlahan in the County semi final and Cloughjordan in the County final. Two great games with super performances from all the girls.

They now go on to represent Tipperary in the Munster Community Games finals in Limerick on April 15.
Team comprises of Jane O'Donnell, Ciara Boylan, Saoirse Cahill, Holly Dormus, Grace O’Gorman, Róisín Rice and Hannah Leahy.
Special thanks to coaches Orla and Alan Boylan, and to all the parents involved.

CrossRoad cafe

Impending Retirements
As you may know, Dr. Curtin and Dr. O’Riordan are retiring at the end of March 2023. In consultation with Cllr. Imelda Goldsboro, it has been agreed that a collection and presentation will be made to both Doctors on April 29 in the Community Centre, Ballingarry.
In order to facilitate a collection online, Michael Kealy at Ballingarry Community Development (BCD) will set up a Paypal account. With this in place, it will be possible to have a Donate button on the BCD website for the purpose of collecting donations for the Doctors. Anyone wishing to give a personal card, donation or gift may also do so through this medium.

Follow-up Meeting
A community meeting is being arranged for Wednesday, April 5 as a follow on from the meeting held in February about what Services / Amenities could be added in the Community.
