 Just after 2am last night the supporters of Cahir’s Will Fleury rejoiced after the MMA star produced a five star performance to defeat  UFC Veteran Krzysztof Jotko in the Professional Fighters League light heavyweight tournament in Las Vegas.

 
The SBG fighter won on a split decision with two of the three judges scoring the bout in his favour ensuring the Tipperary legend upset the odds by winning 29-28.

The victory now brings him one step closer to a tournament prize of $1 million. Last night's win in Las Vegas was a big surprise to many but the win ensures the Tipperary man is going from strength to strength in the tournament. 


The MMA star is the son of Denise and Charlie Fleury, who were antique dealers in Cahir for close to 20 years.
