Cashel library to host free evening of music, songs, poetry and stories of times past

DavÓg Rynn: In concert at Cashel library

Cashel library is inviting you to discover the mystical Druidic world of stories, poems, songs that speak of times past, of lessons learned, Irish melody, folk and informed songs, the pagan beat of the bodhran and even some Gangani blues at a free event this Tuesday night when DavÓg Rynn performs.

DavÓg is son of singer Anne and Davoc Rynne, tin whistle player and folklorist from Miltown Malbay. Christy Moore and Luka Bloom are his uncles.

DavÓg started playing music tin whistle, bodhran and  guitar at a young age before he began a career in acting after doing a course at the Gaiety.

He appeared in four plays in the Abbey Theatre touring Hong Kong and the USA before reviving his musical career in France.

He released his first  album, Talk to me  in 2018. His second album Gangani - Seeds Of Hope in 2020 and his third album Come To The Path in 2023.
