Rules Night a big success
Last week we had an excellent presentation on the Rules of Golf in Deansgrove at the Venue Dundrum House. The presentation was by Marian Arnold and Kevin Leech of Golf Ireland, covering many aspects of the game, especially some of the recent changes.
It was an excellent and informative evening for Ladies and Gents, hosted by Captains Darren Hayes and Jacinta Coman. Captain Jacinta opened the proceedings by welcoming everyone, especially Marian Arnold and Kevin Leech from Golf Ireland.
The large number of members who turned up at the meeting showed a real appetite for knowledge of the rules, from seasoned players to the beginners. The excellent participation by the members throughout the presentation showed real interest, which made the night very worthwhile.
At the end of the night Captain Darren thanked everyone for their attendance and participation. He and Jacinta especially thanked Marian and Kevin for a most informative evening.
