Hanley Controls staff in Clonmel recently took on a major tree planting challenge
A commitment to the environment at Hanley Controls in Clonmel is more than just talk.
Everybody at the company is passionate about taking action to make a positive impact, which is why Hanley Controls recently launched a ‘Plant a Tree for Hanley’ project.
The aim of the project was to plant over 170 trees, which were planted at home by staff members.
PROUD
“We are proud to say that we successfully planted a range of trees, including fruit trees, black alder, silver birch, oak, and birch. Not only will these trees benefit future generations, but they will also have a positive impact on our ecosystem by regenerating and planting native Irish trees,” said Managing Director Kevin Dundon.
HIGHEST QUALITY
To ensure that the trees used were of the highest quality and suited to the local environment, the company sourced them locally from Clonmel Garden Centre.
This not only supported a local business but also ensured that the trees were suited to the local climate and soil conditions.
ENTHUSIASM
“We are proud of our staff and their dedication and enthusiasm towards this project. By planting trees in their homes and gardens, they have contributed to creating a greener, more sustainable future for all of us. It is heartening to see such a positive response to our project, and we hope to inspire other businesses to take similar actions towards protecting our planet,” said MD Kevin Dundon.
