CAMINO SUMMER 2023
A meeting will be held in Upperchurch Community Centre on this Thursday, May 11 at 8 pm for anyone interested in going on the Camino Pilgrimage - Santiago Spain. All welcome.

SPLIT THE POT
Congratulations to Kathleen Stapleton winner of €124 in this week’s Split the Pot. She got her envelope at Nora's Shop.
Next draw on Saturday, May 13 at VIP Centre.
Envelopes in Nora's Shop, Kinnanes, Olivers, Pa's Bar, Drombane Co-op, PJ Ryans Pib, Bog Walk. Split the Pot helps to pay for lighting and general maintenance of the Walk. Make sure your name is in the Pot. Upperchurch Drombane Development thank you for your continued support.

SCRAP METAL COLLECTION
The annual Scrap Metal collection will take place on Saturday, May 13 with all proceeds in aid of Upperchurch Hall. By kind permission of Oliver & Margaret Ryan, their yard will once again be used as a depot. If metal items are too heavy collection can be arranged eg old cars, farm machinery etc.
However, no fridges, televisions, gas drums, semi-empty paint cans will be accepted. All other electrical goods are acceptable, Scrap can be left on Friday evening and on Saurday from 9 am to 6 pm.
Thanks to the efforts of all parishioners, this fundraiser has been a great success and has enabled us to modernise our hall.
Looking forward to your co-operation again this year.

WEDDING BELLS
Congratulations to Una Ryan Glown and Owen Fanning Lisronagh who were married in Sacred Heart Church, Upperchurch on Friday 5th May.

ROSARY

Rosary each evening in Drombane at 6.30 pm and Ballyboy Grotto at 8 pm, weather permitting on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

EXAM MASSES
Mass in preparation for Leaving Cert and Junior Cert examinations with students take place next Saturday, May 13 at 6.30 pm.

SINCERE SYMPATHY
Sympathy is extended to Josie Ralph and Stella O'Donoghue and the extended O'Dwyer family on the death of their brother John O’Dwyer, Clareen who was laid to rest in Kilvalure on Wednesday, May 3. May he rest in peace.
