Tipperary cyclist Patrick O'Loughlin included on Irish team for Rás Tailteann

Carrick-on-Suir cyclist Patrick O'Loughlin will compete for the Irish team in next week's Rás Tailteann.

The event gets underway next Wednesday, May 17, with the first stage from Navan to Birr covering 154.8 kilometres.

The fifth and final stage, from Monaghan to Blackrock, will cover a distance of 133.4 kilometres on Sunday, May 21.

The Rás Tailteann will present Under 23 riders with the opportunity to showcase their talent under the guidance of Under 23 Programme Lead and DS, Martyn Irvine, and Dillon Corkery, who takes on the road captaincy.

The Irish team also includes Aaron Wade, Odhran Doogan and Ewan Warren.
