Rachael Blackmore will be in action at Clonmel Races this evening, Thursday
An evening horse racing meeting takes place in Clonmel this evening, Thursday.
The first race of an eight-race card gets underway at 4.45 with the Tote Always SP or Better Guaranteed Mares Maiden Hurdle.
The feature is the Camida Perfect Chemistry Novice Hurdle, which is worth €9,145 to the winner and goes to post at 5.48.
The field for that race includes Gentleman Joe, the Henry de Bromhead-trained horse which will be ridden by Tipperary jockey Rachael Blackmore and runs in the colours of Robcour, which is owned by Clonmel businessman Brian Acheson and his family.
The card includes seven races over hurdles and a mares flat race.
