Cappawhite 0-3
Ballina made it a great day for North Tipp clubs when capturing the County Under 13 D Football final with victory over a pacy Cappawhite team in Dundrum.
Ballina played against the breeze in the first half but drew first blood with a Jason Bissette point. Cappawhite pressed very often but was unable to score. Ballina were more successful and with the help of Justin Collins' goal plus points from Pakie Gallagher (one) and Tom Meskell (two) the North champions were seven in front at half time.
Cappawhite staged a comeback in the second half but could only muster three points and when Justin Collins secured a second Ballina goal the deal was sealed.
