Had flashes of quality in general play, setting up a few scores and hitting one lovely point from distance after Ronan Maher set him up in the second half. But his main contribution was in terms of his free taking, leaving just one effort short and converting the other eight. Impressive considering the scrutiny of Jason Forde’s absence.
