Thrown in at the deep end for his championship debut last Sunday, Shelly did well in his first appearance at this level. He had a few shaky early puck outs but did find his range as the game wore on, despite the long ball being swept up by Limerick for the most part. Scored a lovely long range point early on to settle the nerves. A promising inclusion.
