Launch of ‘Civil War in the Cahir Area’ Booklet
To mark the centenary of the end of the Civil War, Cahir Social and Historical Society will launch a booklet on the story of this period in the locality.
This will be held outside the old Town Hall (Cahir Library) on The Square at 11am on this Saturday, May 27, 2023.
One hundred and twenty people came to a Society lecture on this subject back in January so there should considerable interest in the booklet.
If you are unable to attend in person, copies of ‘The Civil War in the Cahir Area’ will be for sale at The Heritage and Cahir Post Office subsequently.
