Old Bridge look to make history this evening against defending cup champions St Michael's

Old Bridge and St. Michael's supporters are hoping for a cup classic

A big crowd is expected in Cahir this evening for the Tipperary Cup final which will be played in strong sunshine.

Perennial contenders St. Michael’s are looking to defend their crown and take some silverware from the year when they take on the underdogs Old Bridge in what is a novel encounter.

St. Michael’s will look to bounce back from last Monday’s draw with Peake Villa, which saw the Thurles side claim the coveted league title which ended the Saints hopes for a seventh league title in a row.

Old Bridge are sure to bring plenty of vocal support and they will look to slay the defending champions and create their own piece of history.

Kick off in in Cahir Park at 7pm.
