Tipperary councillor told Uisce Éireann hopes to lodge application for Shannon pipe

Úisce Éireann plans to submit a planning application for its €2.1bn Shannon to Dublin water pipeline in the first quarter of 2024, Cllr Seamus Morris has been told.

The utility further told him that it is proposed that a voluntary wayleave package will be offered to landowners affected by the proposed pipeline for acceptance in advance of the planning application being made.
