AS IT HAPPENS: Tipperary and Waterford hurling up a storm in Thurles

Into the last five minutes and Waterford still lead.

Into the last ten minutes now, Waterford still ahead. Tipperary supporters are grateful to Limerick who are seven points up meaning Tipp are still in the championship as it stands.

Tipp still jittery in possession typified by the unmarked Mark Kehoe overcarrying which resulted in a pointed free for Waterford. 

With 52 minutes on the clock Waterford still lead.. agoal from Dessie Hutchinson after the Tipperary full back line and keeper get caught out from close range.

With 46 minutes gone in the game Waterford lead 0-18 to 0-13.

Tipp have improved since the break with a point from play by Conor Bowe and a free from Noel McGrath bringing it back to a  five point game. 

Waterford dominated the first half in the Munster Senior Hurling Championship clash, leading at half time on a scoreline of Tipperary: 0-8(8) Waterford: 0-17(17).

Tipp looked tired and off the pace while Waterford looked fitter and faster with Dessie Hutchinson leading the attack. 

The teams didn't line out as selected. There are two changes to the Tipperary starting team v Waterford. Cathal Barrett and Jake Morris are out because of injury and are replaced by Brian McGrath and Seamus Callanan. Niall O'Meara and Jack Ryan are now on the subs bench.

Waterford changes Billy Nolan (the sub keeper) starts outfield for Conor Prunty, Paddy Leavy for Jamie Barron and  Patrick Fitzgerald for Austin Gleeson.
