Moycarkey Coolcroo club member Sean Mockler
Tipperary's Sean Mockler has been selected for the Irish team that are going to the European Athletics Team Games this summer.
The Moycarkey Coolcroo club member will travel across the continent to represent his country in the competition later this month. He is currently preparing for the competition which takes place in Silesia, Poland on June 20th -June 25th.
Sean is a student of Indiana University, USA and he is currently home in Tipperary for the summer holidays. He will stay until August 15th and after the trip to Poland he will return to focus on matters closer to home.
The Moycarkey Coolcroo star hopes to defend his All Ireland Hammer title at the National Track & Field championships which are due to take place on July 21st.
We all wish Sean well with the various competitions this summer.
