Tipperary joint captains Clodagh Quirke and Karen Kennedy
Every time the black and amber brigade appear on the horizon Tipperary supporters sit up and take notice.
The famed hurling stronghold of Kilkenny is always a tough place to go and play a match and this Saturday evening the Munster champions head to Nowlan Park to play the reigning All-Ireland champions on their home turf.
The Tipp seniors take on the All-Ireland champions this Saturday and the call is being made for Tipperary supporters to get along and support the brilliant Karen Kennedy, Clodagh Quirke and their teammates against the Cats.
Tipperary are well up for the challenge at hand with a new drive within the set up this year as Toomevara native Denis Kelly brings his wealth of hurling experience to the set up. The recent Munster championship victory was a huge boost to the team as it was the first silverware secured since 2010.
The confidence is oozing through the side currently as they have dismantled the challenge of Dublin and Wexford in recent weeks and look to make it three in a row wins over Leinster sides.
A strong home following is guaranteed on Noreside so get along to even up the support. Tickets now on sale. U16s are free to attend the game but need a ticket. The link to get them is here:
