Must-win game tonight in West Tipperary or campaign is finished

It's a must-win game to have any chance of making the knockout stages is scheduled tonight, June 30

Having lost their opening round game of the West Junior A Football Championship to Sean Treacy’s, Sologhead were hoping for better luck against Emly in round two played last Friday evening in Emly but again had to settle for the runners-up spot as Emly emerged victorious by the minimum margin, 3-12 to 3-11.
Having got off to a perfect start with a John Joe O’Brien goal inside two minutes Sologhead failed to build on it as Emly led by Shane Carroll began to work their way back into the game to go six points clear before incoming substitute Aaron Ryan with 1-1 narrowed the gap to two points coming up to half time leaving the score at 1-8 to 2-3.
Second half points by Christopher Kirby, Jack Redican, Declan Riordan and two by Eoin Riordan had us one up with ten minutes remaining but again Emly hit back to regain the lead and held on despite a late penalty converted by Eoin Riordan.
