Well done to our u11’s last Saturday morning - a great workout with 60+ mins of hurling/three matches versus Grangemockler, Carrick Swans and St Patrick’s. Some great passing, support play and scores, against a very strong breeze! Well done to all.
Upcoming hurling blitz in Rockwell West/ South next Saturday morning.
UNDER 13
Well done to our u13 boys last Tuesday night v St Patrick’s. We were missing six and down to the bare 13 players and had to have 4 u11 lads play. unfortunately we lost 4-6 to 5-8 in a very tight and exciting game.
Thanks to the u11 boys for stepping up.
UNDER 15
Well done to our u15s who defeated Knockmealdown Gaels on a 4-14 to 1-7 last Thursday night in Clerihan. Great stuff from the boys, massive thanks to the five U13 boys who helped us field a team.
Our next game sees us take on Ballybacon this Thursday night, July 6 at 7pm in Goatenbridge.
UNDER 19
Well done to our combination team of Clerihan / Grangemockler who took to the field in Marlfield last Wednesday night in the 1st Rd of the South championship. Despite having to put a team together with the short notice they gave a very good performance coming away with the win on a final scoreline of Clerihan/ Grangemockler 1-10 Knockmealdown Gaels 0-9.
Well done to Declan Blanchfield and Willie Wallace from Grangemockler and Tom McCarthy and Shane O’Sullivan from Clerihan for getting the team together with such short notice.
