Clonmel rower Daire Lynch

Daire Lynch just missed out on a medal at the European Rowing Championships held in Lake Bled in Slovenia.

The Clonmel rower teamed up with Philip Doyle in the men's double sculls, with the pair finishing fourth in the final.

Croatia hit the front through the first 500 metres, with Lynch and Doyle back in fifth place.

Croatia won gold, with Italy taking the silver.
