Former world snooker champions Ken Doherty and Denis Taylor will play a pool exhibition in Clonmel next month.
They will bring the world snooker championship trophy with them for the exhibition, which will be held at Kate Ryan’s in Cashel Street on Thursday, August 3.
Tickets are now on sale for the event, which will feature two of the greats of the game.
Ken Doherty beat Stephen Hendry in the 1997 world final while Denis Taylor got the better of Steve Davis on the final ball of the final frame in the 1985 decider, in one of the most closely contested matches of all time.
Ten superior VIP tickets are available at €60 each.
These include a private pre-match reception, photos with the players and the world championship trophy, finger food and a chance to play the best of three pool games against either Doherty or Taylor.
Forty VIP tickets, at €40 each, include a private pre-match reception, priority seating, finger food and photos with the players and the world championship trophy.
General admission tickets at €20 are also on sale. A raffle will also be held.
