Cahir Park Ladies Play in Pink

The best weather of the week arrived on Thursday for the annual Ladies Play in Pink Day.

This year the 3 Ball Scramble was very kindly sponsored by Paul Eivers, PGA Professional to the Club.  With lovely prizes on the presentation table, pink cushions on the Photo Booth bench, sunglasses of many varieties vying with the bunting on buggies and trolleys, the Ladies went to battle to raise funds in support of The National Breast Cancer Research Institute.

At presentation of Prizes, Captain Mary Lyons spoke of the importance of the Research Institute and thanked all the members and visitors who played, for their support and for their generosity to the raffle, the prizes for which were presented by Murphy Candles Cahir. Lady Captain Mary thanked Course Staff, Catering staff and the ProShop team for taking bookings.

Welcoming Club Professional Paul Eivers who sponsored and presented the first prizes, Mary thanked Paul and wished him continued success in his career.
