If you have a couple of mattresses that are getting in the way and have served their purpose now is the time to bring them to a recycling centre.

As part of Tipperary County Council’s Anti-Dumping Initiative a mattress amnesty will take place from today - Tuesday the 25th July until Thursday the 27th July 2023.   

The mattresses will be accepted from 9am until 4pm but the centres are unfortunately closed for lunch between 12:30pm and one O Clock   

Mattresses will be accepted free of charge at the following locations across Tipperary:

Donohill: Recycling Centre, Garryshane, Donohill, Co. Tipperary, E34 A090
Roscrea

Roscrea: Civic Amenity Site, Dublin Road, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, E53 Y985
Nenagh

Nenagh: Recycling Centre, Limerick Road, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, E45 KA07

Cashel: Wallers' Lot Recycling Centre, Clonmel Road, Cashel, Co. Tipperary E25 VK54
Carrigeen

Clonmel: Recycling Centre, Carrigeen Business Park, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary E91 C6E8


*Please note that it is mattresses ONLY from domestic households – the maximum accepted is 3 mattresses per household.
