The FBD Insurance Tipperary County Senior Hurling Championship commences this weekend.

There is just one west Tipperary team in the Dan Breen Cup for 2023. Clonoulty/Rossmore, the 2018 champions, are in the same group as Borris-Ileigh, the 2019 champions, and Kiladangan, the 2020 champions, who were beaten finalists last year.

They are also joined by Thurles Sarsfields, who last claimed county honours in 2017.

Clonoulty/Rossmore open their campaign this Sunday, July 30, when they face Borris-Ileigh at FBD Semple Stadium in a game with a 12 noon throw-in.

Kiladangan and Thurles Sarsfields meet at the same venue at 1.30pm.
