Cahir Arts launched Ceramics 3 to great public response last Friday July 21.

Siobhan Caplice explained how she loves to source artists with very different approaches and bring them together to show the public the diversity of ceramics and the enormous talent that we have in Ireland.

Siobhan chose 15 ceramic artists from all over Ireland including artists from Northern Ireland. Her selection offers a very interesting and varying kaleidoscope of Irish Ceramics.

The show was opened by Tina Byrne from Ceramics Ireland who talked a little about the history of clay and the connection with the creative process. Tina congratulated all the exhibitors on their varying techniques and pieces on show. Many of the award-winning artists were present on the evening and the public were able to meet the artists and discuss their techniques.

Elaine Riordan Chairperson of Ceramics Ireland was also present in appreciation the work on show. The electric mix of Ceramics #3 is on show until the September 1, so call in a have a look at the varied range.
