County Tipperary group to host ‘The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever’

‘Daughters of Dún Iascaigh’ to Host ‘The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever’

With the support of local volunteers ‘The Daughters of Dún Iascaigh’ will host ‘The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever’ in Cahir on this Sunday July 30, 2023.

So on Sunday July 30 at 3pm the Daughters hope to see the people of Cahir in their finest Kate Bush gear for a group performance of the Wuthering Height’s music and dance routine in the Inch Field. Local yoga and dance experts, Shelley Tobin and Sandra Quinn have choreographed the event and will guide everyone through the steps before the group en masse recreates the dance routine from Kate’s 1978 music video, inspired by Emily Bronte’s 1847 novel. 

Everyone from Cahir and further afield is welcome to join in the fun! Tickets cost €10 with funds will be donated to local support organisations, Cuan Saor and Tipperary Rape Crisis Centre. Update- It’s great to hear that some men are planning to don red & join in the day! So who will wear red better and who has the best dance moves? You decide on the day! Every one of any age or gender is welcome!

There will be a Red Lip Station in the Inch Field on the day run by John from ‘Get Glam’ & Niamh from ‘The Studio’ who for a €2 donation that will go to both causes will make sure your lips are as red as your outfit! There’s no excuse for those red lips now!
