The Planning Section of Tipperary County Council has published the Draft Clonmel Local Area Plan 2024-2030, which includes a Draft Local Transport Plan for the town.
The plan sets out a land use strategy and investment objectives for the town to ensure a good quality of life for its community, to support employment and homes, and do so sustainably and successfully.
The Draft Plan was published on Friday, July 28 and readers are invited to read and make submissions on the Draft Plan until Monday, September 11.
Copies of the plan are available at the civic offices in Clonmel and Nenagh and Clonmel library, as well as online on the council’s consultation portal.
Planners and Active Travel staff from the council will host a public information evening on Wednesday August 23 in Clonmel library, and will be available to answer any questions on the plan.
