Motorist taken to hospital as a precaution following single vehicle crash in county Tipperary

A motorist aged in his mid-20s was taken to Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel as a precaution after the car he was driving lost control and struck a wall on the N74 between Golden and Cashel last week.

The single vehicle accident happened near Thomastown around 7am on Wednesday, August 2.

A Tipperary Garda Station spokesman said the wet conditions on the road were a factor in the accident.
