Clonmel AC runners do Tipperary proud in Cork City 10-Miler

Clonmel AC's Brian Tyrrell crosses the finishing line in the Cork City 10-Miler

What a tough race the Cork 10 miler was last week but our club athletes did us proud.

Congratulations to Vasiliy Neumerzhitskiy on his third place finish in the M55 category in an impressive time of 1 hour and seven minutes over the distance.

Hot on his heels came another Clonmel AC representative, Seán O’Dea, who is now reaping deserved rewards for all his committed training. Sean crossed the line in a very creditable  1:13 for eighth place in a strong M55 category and finished  with a smile to top it off.

Huge applause to our own Brian Tyrrell on completing the 10 miler in a time of 1:43. It’s fantastic to see Brian back on the circuit again. Thank you for representing Clonmel AC so well.

This Clonmel AC crew only seems to be warming up and  we’re looking forward to some more great performances throughout the year.
