The South Tipperary Arts Centre in Nelson Street, Clonmel, is one of the venues for the South Tipperary Art Group's adult sessions
New members, with some knowledge of art/craft are always welcome at the adult sessions of South Tipperary Art Group (STAG) in the Arts Centre and in the art room of Ss Peter and Paul’s Primary School, Clonmel.
Congratulations to Lesley and Winnie, who sold artworks from The Showgrounds during the week.
The mosaic by Junior STAG, with some of the former Sixth Class boys from Ss Peter and Paul’s school, is nearly complete and will be hung in a public space soon.
Many thanks are extended to the Arts Office, Tipperary County Council, for the financial support from the Arts Grant that facilitated both the making of the mosaic and the painting of the mural, ‘After Mondrian’, by all the Sixth Class boys, under the eagle eyes of Tony and Maureen from STAG’s work team.
