Retiring Tipperary principal travelled 76 miles daily - never missed one in 40 years!

Wishing Larry Flynn a long and happy retirement from his post as Principal in Kilcash National school.

Larry served 40 years having been Principal for 33 of those years, commencing his career in 1983 and becoming Principal in 1990.


A native of Galbally, Larry travelled the 38 miles through all weathers without missing a day over all the years.


Fr Brian Power and Fr. Bill Carey concelebrated Mass to mark the occasion with refreshments afterwards in the Community Hall.
