Last weekend we had an excellent turnout for President Paddy Fitzgerald’s Presidents Prize. We had two competitions; a 15-hole and a 9-hole competition.

The winner of the President's Prize for the boy’s 15-hole competition was Rua Astwood, in 2nd place Cian Buckley & in 3rd place Thomas Crosse.

The winner of the girls 15-hole competition was Jamie Alley and in 2nd place Allanah Rose Walsh. The winner of the 9-hole President’s Prize was Leon O’Dwyer, in 2nd place Conor Hickey & in 3rd place James Quirke.

Speaking at the presentation; President Paddy Fitzgerald complemented all the young golfers that played in the competition. He thanked O’Dwyer Steel, represented by Adrian Crosse for their continued sponsorship and support for the junior golfers. He paid special tribute to the very hard working committee who do so much for the Junior Golfers.
