Tributes pour in from around Tipperary after the death of a well-known farmer in France

Tributes are pouring in for an Irish farmer well known in east Limerick and west Tipperary among farming circles who died suddenly in Paris recently ahead of a Rugby World Cup game.

He was the son of the late John and Annie. Brian is deeply missed by his loving wife Anna, his children Aoife, Ciaran and Kevin, sister Mary, brothers Mike, Dan, and Noel, Uncle Tony, mother and father-in-law John and Alacoque Nolan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, work colleagues at Mulcair Veterinary Clinic, relatives, neighbours and friends.

His colleagues at Mulcair Vets paid tribute to Brian. “We at Mulcair Vets are very saddened to announce the untimely passing of our colleague and friend Brian, while on a cycling holiday in Bordeaux. While words could never truly capture the essence of Brian Ryan, we have done our best to do so in tribute.”

Brian’s Remains Reposed at his home in Farnane on Saturday, October 14, from 3pm to 7pm, arriving on Sunday, October 15, to St. Michael’s Church, Cappamore for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.

He had great regard for the communities of East Limerick and neighbouring Tipperary communities. His roots were here in the hills and lowlands and those communities carry great respect, gratitude and admiration for Brian.
