Pumpkin Festival Weekend
Head to Burncourt next weekend for the finale of the Pumpkin Festival.
The Scarecrows are in place, though a few more would be great. Following a very busy weekend, the Pumpkins have been carved and the third Lantern Workshop yielded more great creations.
All is now in readiness for this weekend, Saturday 28 and Sunday 29. Join us on Saturday night at 7pm in the Lantern Parade for the Samhain Celebration as we parade through Burncourt, showcasing the lit-up Lanterns, accompanied by Carnival Drummers, Rhythm Riot Let’s give a celebratory nod to the Púca spirits as we transform the nightime village into a colourful scene of Halloween Celebration.
On Sunday, starting at 1.30, it’s the Halloween Street Festival with Music, Entertainment, Food Stalls, Face Painting, Magic Show, Tombola, Children’s Games. All will be held in the Square in Hillview.
