The Zombie Walk will take place this evening,Tuesday 31 in Clonmel;
The organisers of the Zombie Walk have confirmed that the event will go ahead on Tuesday evening at 6pm despite the inclement weather.
The committee confirmed earlier that the Zombie Walk would take place as planned.
The Zombie Walk, a major highlight of the Halloween celebrations in Clonmel, will start at 6pm from the Kickham Plaza.
Clonmel Borough District staff have been working with the Busking Festival, Clonmel Library staff, the Gardaí, Civil Defence and Clonmel Community Training Centre to produce an evening of top quality entertainment, while at the same time providing an abundance of frights and scares.
The event will commence at Kickham Barracks Plaza at 6pm, where live entertainment will be provided by Axis.
The Zombie Walk will leave the Kickham Barracks Plaza at 6.30pm and walk for approximately 15 minutes as far as Clonmel Greyhound Track.
Once the zombies have reached the track, they will be entertained by After Eden, who will play outdoors, and Mad Patsy, who will perform in the restaurant.
