Tipperary singer Una Healy: bookies' favourite for Virgin Media slot
Two Tipperary female stars are in the favourite's seat to replace Karen Koster on Virgin Media’s ‘The Six O’Clock Show’, who has announced she is standing down
Ladbrokes has installed Una Healy as the favourite to take over from Ms Koster.
Former Saturday’s singer Úna, who is a regular guest host on the show, has been installed as the 3/1 favourite to land the coveted gig.
Big Brother star Brian Dowling-Gourounlian is a 4/1 shot, while Irish model Roz Purcell currently rounds off the top three at 5/1.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: Karen Koster’s shock departure from The Six O’Clock Show has left fans reeling and following mounting interest, we have opened the betting on who will join Greg O’Shea as the new co-host of the Virgin Media show. While it’s still early days, Una Healy is the current frontrunner to land the gig."
