The musicans of Holy Trinity College Cookstown who recorded the 'Fairytale' rendition. The funeral of Shane MacGowan took place in Nenagh last week.
The latest version of Fairytale of New York to go viral is from the pupils of Holy Trinity College Cookstown where the students rendition of the song was a tribute to Kristy McColl and Tipperary legend Shane MacGowan who passed away earlier this month.
The secondary school Facebook account posted the video and wished viewers well: "Well here it is! Our Christmas song of 2023. Have a very happy and peaceful Christmas from the students and staff of Holy Trinity College.
"Show our very talented pupils some appreciation and hit like and share!" Check out the wonderful rendition here:
