Pictured with the mosaic at Clonmel Library are Paul, Tom and Pat from the library, librarian Anne Marie, Keith from the Men's Shed; Vinny, Tony and Maureen from South Tipperary Art Group (STAG)
Junior South Tipperary Art Group (STAG), along with Sixth Class boys from Ss Peter and Paul’s Primary School have now finished their mosaic, made with bottle tops and jewellery.
The mosaic is now hanging in Clonmel Library and is brilliant. Pop in and have a look.
While in the library check out the Christmas Shared Exhibition.
It’s a great exhibition that includes STAG member, Winnie’s painting of Cherries, a beautiful watercolour, which was selected from a number of other submissions from the Adult STAG art group.
STAG adult artists have paintings for sale in Befani’s Restaurant, The Showgrounds, Tipperary University Hospital outpatients corridor and Slievenamon Golf Club.
For that very special gift that lasts, think of buying a STAG artwork.
Contact the Organiser Maureen Purcell at 086-8096823 for more information.
The STAG work team are still busy painting the boarded-up windows and doors in Market Place at present while also repainting the decorations for the roundabout at Tesco.
The Primary section of Junior STAG will complete their My Hero booklet and make Christmas cards on this coming Saturday, the last day for Junior STAG until mid January.
The seniors are completing their felting course with one of the adult members Mary, with great results.
The seniors will be painting also and their theme is The Ravages of War.
